Painter's gallery in the heart of the village of Biot
At the age of 18, Pascal Pontoire was admitted to the École municipale supérieure des arts et techniques in Paris. Three years later, he passed the entrance exam for the Gobelins technical training centre, which specialises in animated film sets. From 1993 to 2015, he created chromatic atmospheres for animated cartoons. Today, Pascal Pontoire can fully express his artistic sense through painting, in particular the post-impressionists and luminists, including the Spanish artist Sorolla. For the last six years, he has been drawing landscapes of the Côte d'Azur. At first he painted in watercolour, then in acrylic, increasing the values.
