In the run-up to the biennial Biot International Glass Festival, which will take place from 20 to 22 September 2024 in Biot village and in the glassworks of Biot, the Hedberg Torun room is hosting the Glass is Biotiful IV exhibition, which opens up the spectrum of glassmaking to all techniques, from blown glass to moulded glass, multi-layered glass and cold-worked glass.
Alongside the works of the two patrons of the 2024 edition, Renata Schirm and Jean Baptiste Sibertin Blanc, 27 artists have been invited, 11 from France and 16 from abroad representing 10 nationalities, to share their passion and expertise around the complex material that is glass.

Renowned the world over for its distinctive bubble glass and awarded the "Villes et Métiers d'Art" (Towns and Crafts) label in 1997, the city of glassmakers will be hosting some thirty works created by 27 exceptional master glassmakers from 11 countries, selected by a panel of experts, in its Hedbgerg-Torun exhibition halls from 6 August to 3 November 2024.
Two of these talented artists have been invited to sponsor the festival: the Frenchman Jean-Baptiste Sibertin Blanc, a renowned designer who has contributed to the success of many brands and inventions.
