Les Terraillers

A few meters from the steep streets of the village of Biot, a pretty 16th century stone building, old pottery with stone walls, houses the elegant restaurant Les Terraillers, a name that evokes the work of the potters who made the dishes with "terraille" (earth picked up in the fields) according to Provençal tradition.

This graceful vaulted stone-built residence, with its ancient terracotta floor and whose original oven has been transformed into a private salon, is beautifully decorated with works of art by local artists: the glassmakers Antoine Pierini, Jean Claude Novaro and famous painters.

Outside, the terrace under the arbor and its generous vine, real show in summer, when the bunches are mature, is a haven of peace where sculptures and creations of the glass masters echo the lush vegetation and stone walls .

Refinement, elegance, serenity, conviviality, taste pleasures ... the restaurant offers a warm atmosphere in winter and a pleasant coolness in summer thanks to its shaded terrace.

The hosts are not mistaken, coming from all over the world; the VIPs regularly stop there, like Bill Cosby, Robert De Niro, Mick Jagger, Mika, Usher, Dustin Hoffman for example ...
