The human body has been continuously represented in the art world for thousands of years, but it is time for a change!
In my vision, the creation of artworks inspired by the world of clothing is its perfect paradox. Clothes have been important for hundreds of years, they allow us to protect ourselves but also to express ourselves, to mark our difference.
My jackets are mainly made with high temperature clay and are all unique pieces.
There is no trace of the body that wears them because appearances can be deceiving, only the aesthetics are visible. The soul of a person will never be seen, only the person concerned will decide whether or not to reveal it.
About me...
I am a native of Biot (a small village halfway between Cannes and Nice), after four years of studies in ceramics, at the age of 21 I opened an art centre in Vallauris where I create, give ceramics courses and organise artistic events.
