Liliane Valsecchi Biography
I've been in Biot for 40 years. I already had my music school and I was involved in festivals all over the place.

In the early 1980s, at the initiative of Mr. Camatte, former mayor of Biot who asked me, I took over the management of the music school which was at the time in prefabricated buildings. There was already dancing with Monique HILZ. This school went soaring and in view of the importance it took, the 1st school was built ... Then in the wake of the 2nd. There was also a small festival and I was asked to expand it. After taking over the direction of the festival which took on a grandiose musical scale, the festival of musical hours was born with the success we know today. Biot's Festival of Musical Hours confirms its image of an event of quality unparalleled in the service of music. I led the ABC until it is today, that is, an art school teaching music, visual arts, dance and theatre and with 22 teachers, 1 reception officer. February 11, 2011. Christophe Marx, Director of Cabinet of the Prefect, presented me as Director of the Arts and Culture Area and President of the Festival of Musical Hours with the Medal of Officer of Arts and Letters, in the Arts Area.
