Getting here
Whether by car, train, plane or boat, here are different itineraries for getting to Biot. Once you’ve arrived, you can reach the village by taxi or with public transportation.
BY CAR
FROM NICE
- Turn off the motorway in Antibes (exit n°44).
- Turn right towards Biot.
- On the access road towards Sophia Antipolis, turn right at the “Chappes” roundabout.
- When you arrive at the foot of the village, turn left.
- Cross the bridge to get to the centre of town.
FROM THE SEASIDE (D6098)
- Follow the signs for Biot.
- Go under the railway bridge.
- Turn right at the traffic light, then left at the roundabout.
- Take the road marked CD4, go past Marineland and then cross over the motorway. Continue straight on to reach the village.
FROM CANNES
- Turn off the motorway in Antibes (exit n°44).
- At the 1st roundabout, turn left towards Antibes and A8 Nice.
- At the 2nd roundabout, stay left and follow the signs for Biot. You’re now on the access road to Sophia Antipolis.
- At the 3rd roundabout (“Chappes”), turn right.
- At the foot of the village, turn left towards the centre of town.
- Cross the bridge over the Brague River.
- At the next traffic light, turn left towards the town centre.
FROM ANTIBES
- Take the road marked CD4 at the roundabout near the Biot train station.
- Go past Marineland.
- Continue straight on.
- Cross over the motorway to get to the village.
FROM ANTIBES – EAST COAST
- Take the road marked D6007 and stay in the lane for Biot (to the right of the lane for Nice).
- Take Avenue Jules Grec. Go past the swimming pool and the fire station.
- Continue on Route Michard Pellissier and continue straight ahead to the “La Bastide du Roy” golf course. Keep going straight until you arrive at the foot of the village. Turn left at the traffic light.
FROM VALBONNE
- Cross through Valbonne and follow the signs towards Biot. You will arrive from the north.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
- From Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport or from the towns of Nice, Cannes or Antibes
- The “Lignes d’Azur” bus number 620 Cannes-Nice stops at the Biot train station
- Regional (TER) and national trains stop at the Biot train station
- There are direct buses from Biot train station to the village, 4 km away: Envibus line 10

FROM THE PORT OF NICE
By bus:
- Make your way from the port in Nice to the bus station:
- As you leave the port, walk by the church and take Rue Cassini to Place Garibaldi.
- Travel time on foot: 15 min
- Name of the bus: route 200 Cannes-Nice
- Name of the bus stop in Biot: Gare SNCF de Biot (Biot train station)
- Frequency: every 20 to 30 minutes
Travel time: about 1 hour - At the train station in Biot, take bus 10 of the Envibus company: €1,50
- Travel time: 10 minutes
- Frequency: around every 30 minutes
- Bus stop: Biot Village, at the entrance to the town
By train:
- Make your way from the port to the Nice train station:
- The easiest and fastest way to get to the train station is by bus.
- As you leave the port of Nice, the bus stop is located across from the church (Eglise du Port).
- Take route 30 that runs every day except Sundays.
- Travel time: around 20 minutes
- Bus stop: Gare SNCF
- Departure train station: Nice-Ville
- Arrival train station: Biot
- Frequency: 15 min
- Travel time: around 25 min
- At the train station in Biot, take bus 10 of the Envibus company: €1,50
- Travel time: 10 minutes
- Frequency: around every 30 minutes
