Valérie GAIDOZ Biografy

In Biot, we are neither quite in the countryside nor quite in the city, it is a pleasant compromise where it is good to live, we meet visitors from all countries. Coming from the Beaux-Arts of Paris, I was also seduced by the artistic emulation at Biot. Secretary to the office of the Trade Association (CAPL), first of all to help out, I got into the game because I had ideas and I think Biot has great potential. Since I entered the office, with capL, we have organized Les Nocturnes d'Art de Biot, La Soirée Blanche, En Waiting Sylvestre... In 2012, after working in An art gallery in Cannes, I decided to open my own gallery in Biot, first in the basement of the GABEL store, thanks to the benevolence of my brother-in-law, and then, thanks to Joel Gilardi, I found a more suitable place, at the entrance to the village where I am now. In the Gabel Gallery, I exhibit some biotois artists, (there are so many talents at Biot!) but also artists from all walks of life. Biot is like a big family with its vagaries, but above all many of its advantages! I think there is still a lot of work to be done to give Biot the aura it deserves, I hope to be able to contribute to it and I am working on it within the association, as in my business. »
