History of blown glass, secrets and manufacturing details. This museum preserves the authenticity of skills and allows to discover the technique of glass-blowing by in-situ demonstrations, free and guided visits and internships.
As a member of the Federation of Ecomuseums and Museums of the Society, the Biot Glass Blowing Museum aims to highlight and make the tradition of glass known by:
- safeguarding skills: the technique of blown and 'bubbled' glass;
- preservating old pieces, tools, artistic glass factories;
- communicating on 'bubbled glass' blowing technique to a very wide audience.
