From Valbonne, take the D4 towards Biot. 200m before the Chemin des Soulières crossroads, turn right and take Avenue des Fauvettes on a hairpin, then 100m away, on the left, take the Route de l'Agasse which you go down to the bottom of the Pont des Tamarins. Description of the circuit starting from the Pont des Tamarins.
The circuit begins at the “Pont des Tamarins” sign. Follow the direction “Valbonne”. You then embark on the magnificent path which runs along the Brague towards Valbonne. You will arrive after a pleasant walk under the road bridge over which the “Route des Macarons” passes (35 min).
Just after the road bridge, you will discover the old mule bridge called “Pont de la Verrière”. Continue the path along the Brague to the confluence with the Bruguet.
You are in front of the “Le Bruguet” sign (1 hour). Continue by taking the Bruguet valley path on the left.
After a few steep steps, the path continues uphill to the sign “Route des Macarons, Pont des Tamarins” which rises in bends.
You enter on the left onto a forest path on which you will find maritime pines and, further on, sessile oaks. Soon, the path approaches the Route des Crêtes and continues among cedars and pines.
On the right you see a first roundabout and continue in the woods along the road to the second roundabout then turn left following the yellow marks on the trees (1h30). As you pass by, several picnic tables are visible.
Then, you carefully cross the Route des Macarons then follow the direction “Pont des Tamarins”. You continue the path which begins below the road.
You turn left and go down to your starting point, sign “Pont des Tamarins”, (2h30).
